Flight Plan

As we begin to enter the final month of the first quarter of 2011 I have to ask, have you filed your flight plan for the rest of the year? The FAA requires a flight plan for all aircraft, so they know where you are going, so they can track you and if you are off course, someone is going to come looking for you!

At this time in the year most of the resolutions that you made are either dead in the water or you are full steam ahead. Do you know where you are going?

I am not a resolution maker, but I have learned that I need to set goals, write them down and know where I am. Today I learned from Zig Ziglar that I need to know where I am on my goal progress, on a daily basis. That will have to be one of my goals. To get even more detailed and know exactly where I stand on a daily basis.

Today file a flight plan so that you know where you are going and how you are getting there. What path are you taking? Have you built in diversions, breaks and what happens when there is engine failure. If you crash? Have you shared your plans with the people that will build you up? So someone will come looking for you if you get off course.
Set your plan today, share it so you have a flight and ground crew to help you stay on course.
